Noni Madueke has claimed that Chelsea have a rising star in their ranks that everyone should be keeping an eye out for.
The Blues have been great at promoting youngsters from their academy over the years, and it looks like the next prospect may be coming through.
According to i this week, Chelsea have hired Brighton scout John Tweedy. He’ll reportedly be moving to west London and joining straight up with the academy structure.

Noni Madueke excited by Tyrique George
Chelsea’s Noni Madueke insists that young teammate Tyrique George is someone with a bright future ahead of him.
George, who’s just 18, is a highly-rated youngster to come through the Blues academy. The winger made his first-team debut last month in the Conference League tie against Servette, which will hopefully be the first of many appearances this season.
“Tyrique is talent through the roof. He’s got everything to be a fantastic wing player. He can score with both feet. He’s quick, skilful, can go both ways. He’s a great player. He had a good debut the other day in the Conference League. He’s one you’ve got to look out for as well. Very good player.”
Tyrique George the next breakout star
Let’s hope George can follow in the footsteps of Chelsea academy graduates such as Reece James and Levi Colwill by breaking into the first-team squad on a full-time basis.
It was claimed by The Mirror in July that Chelsea’s academy tipped George to break into the senior squad this season.
We struggle to see George getting much of a look-in during the Premier League, largely because there’s so much competition for places in the final third of the pitch. Perhaps the cup competitions will provide a decent avenue, though.
The fact that Maresca has already turned towards George is a very encouraging sign for him.
