In the space of a week, Jose Mourinho returned to two of his former clubs, Chelsea and Porto.
Last Tuesday, Mourinho‘s Benfica took on Chelsea in the Champions League before facing Porto in the Portuguese league on Sunday.
They lost 1-0 to Chelsea but were able to draw against their fierce rivals. They currently sit four points behind them in the table.
Benfica’s draw with Porto was a dull affair, with the game finishing 0-0. Mourinho would have loved to have an attacker like Cole Palmer on the night. Before Benfica played Chelsea, Mourinho hailed Palmer as a “phenomenal player”.

Porto fans not happy to see Jose Mourinho return
Mourinho achieved huge success during his time at Porto, famously winning the Champions League with the Portuguese club in 2004.
However, it appears that Porto supporters do not appreciate the fact that he now manages one of their biggest rivals.
During Porto’s draw with Benfica, some fans were seen hurling objects at Mourinho.
While he is not a popular figure at Porto at the moment, Mourinho is still adored by Chelsea supporters.
Right now, Chelsea fans will also be happy with Enzo Maresca after he was able to guide the team to a 2-1 win over Liverpool. Maresca was sent off for over-celebrating, but the Chelsea manager will have no regrets after enjoying the moment.

How Chelsea fans reacted to Jose Mourinho’s return to Stamford Bridge
Mourinho has also managed two of Chelsea’s biggest rivals in Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, and things have not always been pretty when the Special One has returned to Stamford Bridge.
However, Chelsea supporters were happy to leave all of that in the past last week and gave Mourinho a very warm reception.
In response to Chelsea fans singing his name, Mourinho blew a kiss to the Stamford Bridge faithful. If he returns to Porto one day with a team who are not from Portugal, perhaps he will get a similar reception.
