Graham Potter has been spotted by Football Daily arriving at Brighton’s training ground, despite him being heavily rumoured to become the next Chelsea manager.
The Englishman has enjoyed a brilliant start to the campaign as Seagulls manager, leading them to the top four and the joint-best defensive record in the league.
The 47-year-old has been touted as the favourite for the job, with the Blues holding a meeting with the Englishman yesterday which reportedly ended in the two parties reaching a verbal agreement for him to succeed Thomas Tuchel.

The German was dismissed after a 1-0 defeat to Dinamo Zagreb saw his 100th game in charge of Chelsea become his last, with it being claimed that off-the-pitch disagreements saw the relationship between the manager and owner turn sour.
Potter arrives at Brighton
With the sacking being just 24 hours ago, the speed they have worked in reaching an agreement with Potter suggests they are firmly behind the Seagulls boss, although fans may have been concerned this morning when footage emerged of him driving in to Brighton’s training ground.
However, Sky Sports have claimed he was always expected to be turning up to his current club today, with him reportedly turning up to say his goodbyes to players and staff at the club.

If he joins the Blues, supporters should no doubt be excited at the prospect of Potter’s tactics and system, with him showing an exciting brand of football this season despite losing his two best players, Marc Cucurella and Yves Bissouma over the summer.
The only potential worry would be his lack of experience managing at the top of the game, with someone like Mauricio Pochettino having more European pedigree and time working with players similar to the quality of those at Stamford Bridge.
However, the job Potter has done can only point to a future at one of the biggest clubs in the world, and managing Chelsea certainly fits that bill.
