Jamie Carragher has claimed in his article for The Telegraph that Chelsea should look to Mauricio Pochettino instead of Graham Potter to become their next manager.
The Blues made the shocking decision this morning to dismiss the German from his role at the club this morning, following a 1-0 defeat to Dinamo Zagreb last night.
It has been claimed that things off-the-pitch are more the reason towards the dismissal, although last night’s result will surely not have done Tuchel any favours.

Todd Boehly appears to have made Graham Potter his number one target to become the new manager at Stamford Bridge, with things moving rapidly towards him being appointed.
However, Carragher has claimed the Blues would be better off looking towards Pochettino, who was last seen managing the egos and talents of PSG.
Carragher backs Pochettino for Chelsea
He said: “It looks like Brighton’s Graham Potter is the No 1 target. That surprises me.
“If I was in charge of a top English club and had a vacancy I would be straight on the phone to Mauricio Pochettino – a coach with a history of building a club, performing in the Champions League and leading world stars.”
The Argentinian will no doubt be a pulverising figure to some Chelsea fans, given his prior time working for close rivals Tottenham.

The relationship between the sides is so fractured that even club legend Jose Mourinho was on the end of abuse when he made the move to North London to manage Spurs.
However, Pochettino has made his name developing some of Spurs’ current best players including Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son.
Despite his European pedigree, the Blues would be better off looking at an exciting future under Potter, with him showing this season that he is clearly one of the best managers in the country.
