An annual survey of 20 agents in the Premier League has yielded some interesting results, with three Chelsea inclusions.
It was a busy summer for Chelsea, as we have grown accustomed to.
The window is well behind us now, and we are in a better position to assess all the business that has been done. Some signings have hit the ground running at Stamford Bridge, while others are yet to find their feet.

But those responsible for much of the summer’s movements have been asked which deals stand out, for good reasons or for bad.
Joao Pedro to Chelsea named one of the best deals
The survey is carried out by The Athletic after each summer window, where they ask a selection of questions to some of England’s biggest agents.
Joao Pedro’s £60 million move from Brighton was named one of the best, with one reason cited as: “Great value considering his age and what other forwards have gone for.”
Since arriving at Stamford Bridge, Pedro has justified every penny, and already looks like one of Enzo Maresca’s most important players.
Injuries have meant the Brazilian has had to play as a more traditional number nine, but when Liam Delap returns, it will be interesting to see if he adopts more of a second-striker role and how that will mesh with the likes of Cole Palmer and Enzo Fernandez.
So far, though, it has looked a brilliant bit of business.
Two Chelsea youngsters named among the worst
Unfortunately, it wasn’t all praise for the Blues’ business.
When asked about the worst deals, Benjamin Sesko and James Trafford dominated the selections, but the Chelsea duo of Jamie Gittens and Facundo Buonanotte haven’t convinced the agents either.

One surveyed says of Gittens: “Completely the wrong club for him.”
So far, it’s hard to argue that they haven’t been underwhelming, but it’s too soon to be so harsh.
At 20 and 21, Buonanotte and Gittens have plenty of time to reach the levels needed of them by Maresca.
