Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling has been talking about Mauricio Pochettino and what training is like under him.
Mauricio Pochettino took over Chelsea in the summer and Raheem Sterling, speaking to Stadium Astro, says the Argentine’s standards at Cobham are very high.
Pochettino has not made the best start as Chelsea manager, but he will be happy with how things went in his side’s last game.

The Blues managed to beat his former side Tottenham Hotspur 4-1 after the north London club had two men sent off and gave away a penalty.
Chelsea training under Mauricio Pochettino
According to Sterling, Pochettino demands a lot from his players in training.
Discussing his manager in an interview with Stadium Astro, the 28-year-old said: “As a person, he’s fantastic. He’s a really nice human being but on the training field his standards are high and I think that’s what we need as a football club, that’s what we need at Chelsea is those standards. Those high standards are what wins you trophies.
“I think every one of the players has reacted well since he came in, every one of the players has been trying hard to try and meet those expectations but I think we still have room for improvement and slowly but surely that will happen.”
Mauricio Pochettino has revived Raheem Sterling
Sterling has not been at Chelsea for too much longer than Pochettino. He joined the Blues from Manchester City last summer and initially struggled at Stamford Bridge.
In 28 Premier League appearances, he managed to score just six goals as his side went on to finish 12th in the table.
However, since Pochettino’s arrival, the England international has really picked up. He is already halfway to equalling his goal tally from the last top-flight campaign after just 11 games.

Sterling could not find the back of the net in Chelsea’s recent win against Tottenham, but he did manage to register an assist and former Spurs player Jamie O’Hara was impressed with what he saw from him on the night.
If Sterling keeps it up and Pochettino maintains his high standards in training, maybe Chelsea will go on to have a successful season.
It is still early days, so the Blues are not out of the race for Champions League football just yet, while there is a chance that they could win the Carabao Cup after reaching the quarter-finals of the competition.
