Reports have claimed that Chelsea are now looking to sign Brighton goalkeeper Robert Sanchez this summer.
According to the Express, the Blues have determined that the 25-year-old is the perfect successor to Edouard Mendy, who looks close to leaving the club.
Recent reports have claimed that Sanchez is out of favour at the Amex, with him being dropped from the first team in the final few games of last season.

The Spaniard even began to train away from the first team towards the end of the campaign, due to his desire to leave the club this summer.
He was spotted at Stamford Bridge when the Blues took on Real Madrid in the Champions League last season, and he has been linked with a move up to West London this summer.
Now, reports have claimed that he could be on the list at Chelsea, with them preparing for life without one of their first team options from this campaign.
Sanchez to replace Mendy
Mendy is reportedly about to finalise a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia, after agreeing personal terms earlier this week to leave the club.
He is not the only player that is being tempted by the new opportunity to play alongside stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.

N’golo Kante is reportedly close to completing his move to the recent league winners, with his contract with the Blues set to expire in the coming days.
It is not just free agents they are looking for though. There are links with Kalidou Koulibaly and Hakim Ziyech to make their own moves out there during this window.
As for the goalkeeper position, Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly keen to hand the opportunity for Kepa Arrizabalaga to start, with the new manager believing he can improve the Spaniard to the level required to play for Chelsea.
