Reports from Spain have claimed that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is already thinking about playing for another club.

According to Sport, the striker is already imagining returning to Barcelona and playing his football there.

It has been a tough week for Aubameyang after he was given a rare opportunity to feature from the start for the Blues. He achieved a laughably low number of touches, with the majority of those coming from kick-offs in a dismal first half for the Blues.

They found themselves 3-0 down at the break, and despite Noni Madueke opening his account for the club there was very little to shout about at the Emirates.

The 45 minutes the Gabonese international was on the pitch can be seen as a good indicator of how the entirety of his time at Stamford Bridge has gone so far.

Aubameyang thinking of playing for another team

Thomas Tuchel, the manager who the signing looked perfect for, was sacked just one game into his Chelsea career, before Graham Potter came in.

The former Brighton man seemed to not trust the 33-year-old, hardly even featuring during his short tenure. He was even left out of the Champions League squad for the knockout stage in favour of three January signings.

Frank Lampard was left angry by this when looking to pick his team to take on Real Madrid in the quarter-finals, where their run in Europe came to an end.

Aubameyang looks set to be on the move at the end of the season, with it being claimed that he could even be available for free for the Blues to get him off their books.

They are almost certain to enter the market for a striker this summer, with the likes of Victor Osimhen linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.
