Reports have claimed that Chelsea youngster Carney Chukwuemeka has been asked by Austria if he wants to switch nationalities and represent them.
According to TalkSPORT, the national team led by Ralf Rangnick are looking to prize him away from England before he makes his senior debut for England.
Chukwuemeka has become a notable star of the Young Lions sides since he emerged as an extremely talented youngster.

He is still a little bit away from competing for a first team spot, however the future certainly looks bright for the midfielder.
He was granted his big club move last summer when he made the switch from Aston Villa to Stamford Bridge, with plenty of promise surrounding his future.
Chukwuemeka approached by Austria
Chukwuemeka may have been hoping for more opportunities to impress for the first team though than he has been given, especially after his lack of minutes under Thomas Tuchel was cited as one of the reasons behind his sacking.
Even with Premier League fixtures not holding any real meaning right now, the youngster is finding it difficult to even make the matchday squad, let alone find himself on the pitch.

Frank Lampard, who is interim charge of the club has refused to comment on whether he will be handing out more opportunities to youngsters without them earning them on merit.
While club opportunities are far and few between at this stage, they may be about to appear on the international scene at the highest level if he does make the decision to convert his nationality to Austrian.
