Reports have claimed that Graham Potter is hoping a training ground rebuild will bring a happier feeling around his players at Chelsea.

According to The Sun, Todd Boehly is overseeing a major rebuild of Cobham in order to add a luxury ‘chillout room’ to the already immaculate venue.

The mood is certainly not brilliant at Stamford Bridge right now.

The Blues sit in 10th in the Premier League after a dismal run of form which is showing no signs of stopping anytime soon.

Defeat to bottom of the league Southampton at home last weekend seemed to many inside the ground as the final straw with the former Brighton man in charge.

Supporters were seen and heard shouting about how the owners had to make a change at the helm, with the club also threatening to exit the Champions League at the Round of 16 stage.

Potter looking to boost morale

Chelsea were defeated 1-0 by Borussia Dortmund in Germany last week, with a host of missed chances again costing them on a big night.

It is going to take one of the best displays of an admittedly dire season to turn things around against Jude Bellingham’s side.

In an attempt to boost morale in the long run, The Sun have claimed that a training ground overhaul is on the agenda.

At this stage, whatever is required to bring some morale, confidence and ability back to these international players should surely be considered.

Potter is now approaching three consecutive matches which many believe could determine his long-term future at the club.

They start with two fierce Premier League rivalries. The Blues will be looking for their firs wins of the campaign against both Tottenham and Leeds United.

Then, there is the big one against Dortmund, in the competition where the club need to place all of their attention.
