One of Chelsea’s numerous transfer targets reportedly had no clue who Graham Potter was whilst being pursued by the club.
According to Miguel Delaney, an unidentified player apparently didn’t even know about the Blues boss.
There is quite a long list of possible suspects for Potter’s critic.
Chelsea have been linked to numerous names during the January window, with rumours flying around the club at all angles.
Perhaps the biggest story involved Enzo Fernandez.

It was widely known that Todd Boehly and are attempting to sign the midfielder, but have so far failed to strike up a deal with Benfica.
Could Fernandez be the culprit for not being aware of Potter’s presence?
He’s never played in the Premier League, and has rarely come up against English competition.
Therefore, he wouldn’t be blamed massively for not keeping up with Chelsea news, even despite claims he wanted to join the club.
Who doesn’t know Graham Potter is the Chelsea boss?
Others who could be accused are Marcus Thuram, who is seemingly top of the agenda for new strikers.

It certainly can’t be Moises Caicedo or Leandro Trossard, two men who are also being heavily linked to the South West London side.
Both Caicedo and Trossard played under Potter at Brighton before his move to the capital.
Therefore, it’s more likely those on the continental scene will have overlooked the Chelsea manager.
