Scout names 20-year-old Chelsea youngster as one of the top players he has worked with

A scout on Twitter has now claimed that one Chelsea youngster is actually one of the best players he has ever worked with.

TheSecretScout has stated that Levi Colwill is on par with the likes of Jude Bellingham and Jamal Musiala in terms of talented players he has worked with in his career.

Colwill is currently in the middle of his first senior season at Stamford Bridge, where he has been utilised plenty by new manager Mauricio Pochettino.

However, most of his performances have not been in his strongest position. He is well known to have been a centre-back through all of his youth career.

In order to fit him in this season though, he has seen most of his displays at left-back, with injuries to some of the other options to play there too.

Ben Chilwell has endured a rough spell on the sidelines, while Marc Cucurella could miss this weekend due to an injury picked up against Everton.

Scout praises Colwill

The youngster was even named captain of the club for the trip to Old Trafford just over a week ago, perhaps a sign of just how highly he is rated.

TheSecretScout has now named him as one of the top three talents they have ever worked with.

They said: “Fortunately work with many top players. Technically and tactically. But as young people they were just wanted to be the best they could.

“Jude Bellingham, Jamal Musiala, Levi Colwill.”

Having already made his England debut this year based off his Chelsea form, it is perhaps not surprising that someone who has worked with him from a young age is so high on him.

It would now be advisable for him to begin to get some minutes in his more natural position of centre-back, paving the way for what could be a long future at Stamford Bridge.
