Chelsea have not been scared to make some big sales involving first team players under the current ownership in West London.
The likes of Ian Maatsen and Omari Hutchinson moved on early in the window after their successful loans away from the club last season.
Even some players who played important roles under Mauricio Pochettino at Stamford Bridge last season have been looked to be sold.
The obvious candidate for that description is Conor Gallagher, who looks all but set to join Atletico Madrid this summer.

Simon Jordan says Chelsea have done well in selling Conor Gallagher
Supporters have not been happy with the way Gallagher has been treated by the club, however not everyone seems convinced the sale is such a nightmare for Chelsea.
Simon Jordan has claimed that Chelsea have done well to get the fee they are going to get for the England international.
He said to TalkSPORT: “If you’re being transferred from a London, or English leading Premier League club, irrespective of the certain travails Chelsea have had recently, and you’re being transferred to Real Madrid, or Barcelona, then absolutely.
“And it’s not bad for Conor Gallagher. I think Conor Gallagher is seemingly getting a reputation of being some sort of world beater, and the reason why they might have some success which is nonsense.
“They got £40million for a mediocre player, not a bad player, an international player with some recognition.”
There will be plenty of competition for midfielders at the club this summer with Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo always likely to start following their £100m+ moves.
Romeo Lavia impresses in pre-season
Romeo Lavia has made a real statement during pre-season that he is ready to have a serious impact on the Blues this time around, after missing nearly all of the last campaign due to injury.
Another playing hoping to break into the starting team is Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who followed his new manager to Stamford Bridge this summer.
The midfielder impressed in their only win of the summer against Club America, with it being clear to see that he had a lot of understanding over what Maresca was looking to get across to his new squad already.
