Pundit Karen Carney has now claimed that something happened after Chelsea’s win last night that she didn’t expect to happen.
She told Sky Sports that she was surprised how supporters reacted despite the fact that the Blues booked their place in the final of the EFL Cup with a dominant win at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea and Mauricio Pochettino will have no doubt been feeling the pressure last night after their first leg defeat to Middlesbrough in the semi-final of the competition.

After a nervy opening few minutes, the Blues settled everyone inside the stadium down when they drew level in the tie thanks to an own goal.
Enzo Fernandez soon put them ahead in the tie, before a marauding Axel Disasi converted from close range.
A Cole Palmer double either side of half-time and a Noni Madueke strike put the finishing touches on what was a superb night for the Blues.
Carney surprised at Chelsea fans
The travelling Middlesbrough fans were loud all night, and were given something to cheer about late when they finally found the net through Morgan Rogers.
Whether this deflated home fans at all or not, Carney has claimed she expected more of a reaction from the Stamford Bridge faithful after booking their place at Wembley.
She said: “There is a part of me still sat here thinking they have got to a final but it feels like they are not in the final. The vibe in the ground wasn’t quite what I expected to be honest. I thought they would have been more up. There is still a bit of work to do here to get that association back with the fans, I think.”
In what has clearly been another tough season for the Blues this time around, victory in this competition would certainly remind supporters that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
They will be watching on tonight to see if it will be Liverpool or Fulham that are waiting for them in the final next month.
