Journalist Rudy Galetti has claimed that Chelsea are prepared to speed up their approach for one player this summer.
He took to Twitter to state that they are prepared to trigger the release clause of Victor Osimhen in order to fend off interest from the likes of PSG.
It has been frequently mentioned that Osimhen is the club’s number one target for a striker to come in at the end of this season.

These reports have been fuelled by the fact that the player himself has admitted he already knows where his future lies.
However, what looked like a clear run at the striker as far as Chelsea were concerned has now been impacted by the potential of PSG coming to the table.
This is a result of the news that Kylian Mbappe is set to leave the Parisian side at the end of the season.
To counter this, Galetti has claimed that the Blues have a plan in place to beat them to the signing.
Chelsea speeding up Osimhen approach
He said: “Chelsea are planning to speed things up for Victor Osimhen – main target to strengthen their attack – to anticipate the competition from PSG.
“Chelsea are willing to trigger the release clause (€130m) and will approach #Napoli soon to negotiate the payment structure.”
While they will still be confident that they can convince the 25-year-old to join them, the Blues will perhaps be lining up a backup list of players to play up front too.
It has been claimed in the past that they have an interest in Sporting Lisbon star Viktor Gyokeres, who is currently the top scoring forward in European football.
Despite him not even completing his first season yet with the Portuguese side, there have been reports linking him with a big move away, although Chelsea have been credited as the only side financially capable of pulling off a deal.
