Pundit Gary Neville has claimed that Chelsea are in the process of absolutely ruining Mauricio Pochettino right now.
He told ‘Stick to Football’ that the culture at the club has made it impossible for coaches over the last 12 months to succeed at Stamford Bridge.
Any hope that Pochettino was going to instantly turn things around at Chelsea after last season has quickly been wiped out.
The Blues have just one win from their opening six games, and those fixtures have been favourable in comparison to who is to come this season.
The common problem on the pitch has again been a lack of goals, with summer signing Nicolas Jackson scoring once despite starting every game up front this season.

There is the return of Armando Broja to look forward to, although the manager has made it clear that he is not yet ready to start a game after missing nine months of action.
However, optimism around the club is at an equally low level to where it was last season, when they finished 12th in the league.
Neville has claimed though that the culture surrounding the club has made it near enough impossible for anyone to succeed at the helm recently.
He said: “I think it’s cultural. They’re ruining players who are good players. Coaches have been ruined. It’s happened at Chelsea over the last 12-18 months, Potter, Lampard, Pochettino we know is a fantastic coach but he’s struggling at the start.”
The Blues are in action in the EFL Cup tonight against Brighton, while they will have to wait until Monday before they are back in Premier League action in the West London derby against Fulham.
