All the talk surrounding Chelsea over the last few days has revolved around figures who do not feature on the pitch.
There is a reported rift between owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali, with it seemingly impossible for the situation to carry on as it is.
Boehly reportedly has a 30-year vision for where he wants the club to go, however he does not hold the majority of the shares at Stamford Bridge.

The American is not thinking about stepping down as Chairman of the club though, leaving the situation in limbo up to now.
The real issues between the duo in charge seemed to stem from the antics this summer, with the club backing Enzo Maresca after the sacking of Mauricio Pochettino after just a season in charge.
Boehly tried to overrule Mauricio Pochettino sacking
It has been claimed that the decision to remove the Argentine from his post was not one that he was on board with, and The Times have reported that the decision followed directors handing him an 18-page document explaining why they were considering that decision.
The report goes on to say that Boehly tried to overrule the decision, however he was clearly not successful in doing so.
While Chelsea fans have taken Boehly’s side in the saga, the majority of them were not too sad to see Pochettino leave after less than 12 months in charge of the club.
The current boss has already experienced all three results as a Premier League manager.
Enzo Maresca has decisions to make at Chelsea
Maresca may have some decision to make when it comes to the starting side for their next Premier League game against Bournemouth.
He may well be without a right-back after injuries sustained by both Reece James and Malo Gusto, and may look to Moises Caicedo to play the unconventional role.
If not though, Josh Acheampong also provides an option to start after impressing for the youth sides.
