The rift between the two owners of Chelsea has seemingly reached a point of no return.

Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali have seemingly allowed their relationship to sour, and are now both assessing their options going forward.

Chelsea fans have taken the side of Boehly in this saga, with them feeling he has what is important to supporters higher up on his list of priorities.

However, those supporters have been warned that full control going the way of the American could see another mass overhaul be in store for the club.

The two reportedly had a meeting last month to discuss what was best, however it all seems in a bit of a standoff right now.

Boehly most likely to be bought out by Chelsea

With everyone eager to know what is in store for Chelsea next, a report from The Times has suggested what those with a bit more knowledge of the situation seem to think will happen.

The report says that they believe the most likely scenario right now is Boehly’s stake in the club being bought out by the Clearlake side.

Clearlake are the majority shareholder in the club, and it would take a serious offer to buy them out of their position.

Boehly meanwhile has no plans to step down as chairman of the club, a role he has continued to hope despite the fact he has taken a more hands-off approach to club duties.

Attention off Chelsea players

Chelsea supporters ultimately would prefer the attention to be on what is happening on the pitch, with a large amount of their players representing their countries during this international break.

One of the more impressive outings has been from Joao Felix, who is still waiting patiently for his first start in his second spell at the club.

He will be hoping it is not too long until that happens, and the chance could arise if Cole Palmer is not deemed fit to start this weekend.
