Chelsea youngster Cole Palmer is already playing with so much maturity on the football pitch.
That is according to Owen Hargreaves.
Cole Palmer, who’s just 21, is quickly becoming a key Chelsea player during his debut season at Stamford Bridge.
It’s helped that the English talent has walked into a very young and inexperienced squad of players, but the speed of which he’s settled has been a surprise.
The attacking midfielder is already becoming a mainstay in Mauricio Pochettino’s starting line-up because of the quality of his recent performances.

Mature beyond his years
Pundit Owen Hargreaves thinks that Palmer is showing exceptional maturity so far in Chelsea colours.
The 21-year-old’s already stepped into the role of penalty taker, scoring three out of three this season.
“It is right in the corner from Cole Palmer (his penalty against Tottenham). He doesn’t play like a 21-year-old. He takes on the responsibility and it is a brilliant penalty,” Hargreaves said (8:38pm, 6 November), as quoted by the Premier League’s official website.
Dazzling Cole Palmer
Chelsea’s season is still taking shape and we feel like a work in progress, but there’s a few really big positives to enjoy.
For certain, Palmer’s contributions so far in a Chelsea shirt makes his £40million summer signing (Sky Sports) look like a real bargain.
The left-footed playmaker has started with three goals and four assists in 10 Chelsea appearances so far.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano recently said on YouTube that Chelsea believe that they’ve got themselves a bargain with Palmer’s signing from Manchester City. He does look a class above most of his Blues teammates right now.
Chelsea fans have had to buy into the club’s philosophy of investing in young talents for the future, but if more of them are like Palmer then they may be closer to challenging for trophies than most initially thought.
