It has been reported that Chelsea are about to miss out on two of their top transfer targets in the first half of deadline day.
Chelsea fans went into last night thinking there was a big chance that they would add either Ivan Toney or Victor Osimhen to their ranks as a new option up front.
However, both have reportedly agreed to terms with Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli, potentially sending Chelsea back to the drawing board.

There has been doubt cast over the Saudi side’s ability to sign both players, with them only having one place left for a foreign player to join them.
This could leave them having to choose from the two, with Sky Sports’ Paul Gilmour stating that at the moment they are more likely to sign the Premier League man.
Al-Ahli more likely to sign Toney than Osimhen
He said: “Interestingly in the last few minutes one source has told me that it is more likely Al-Ahli will sign one or the other out of Ivan Toney and Victor Osimhen.
“At the moment that source is saying that Ivan Toney is more likely. He is on the way for a medical after seeing that £40 million deal agreed with Al-Ahli.”
Chelsea want to sign Osimhen on their terms
Chelsea have always been keen to get a deal for Osimhen done on their terms, with the personal demands of the player seeming to be very high.
Any striker who comes in is likely to be competing with minutes with Nicolas Jackson, who is underway for goals in the Premier League this season.
There may well be a loan waiting in the wings for youngster Marc Guiu if a new name is brought in today, with minutes looking less likely to come his way if there is one more top option to contend with.
