Journalist Ben Jacobs has claimed that there are a number of clubs who are already considering making an approach to hire Jose Mourinho has their next manager.
He took to Twitter to state that a couple of clubs in the Saudi Arabian league have already discussed hiring the Chelsea legend before he was recently relieved of his duties.
Today saw Mourinho sacked as the manager, leaving behind more of a European pedigree than one in Serie A.

He leaves behind a side in 9th in the table in Italy, who are currently being led by Chelsea loanee Romelu Lukaku.
Chelsea supporters were quick to take to social media to give their opinion on the matter, with some of them in agreement that he should be the man brought to Stamford Bridge to replace Mauricio Pochettino.
Jacobs has now claimed that there are a number of clubs from Saudi Arabia who have already considered making approaches for Mourinho in the past, who could now look back in his direction now he is on the market.
Clubs interested in Mourinho
He said: “Jose Mourinho surely won’t be short of offers. He remains on Saudi Arabia’s radar having previously turned down the chance to manage Al-Hilal.
“SPL leaders not considering a new approach, but Al-Ahli and Al-Nassr have also discussed Mourinho before.”
Mourinho’s name did come up in reports when the owners at Stamford Bridge were taking their time in hiring the right man for the job before this season got underway.
While all the reports have claimed that Pochettino’s place in West London is safe for now, it feels like there will be less security if they are not successful in turning around their deficit in the EFL Cup semi-final against Middlesbrough.
With Mourinho now available again, it remains to be seen if the pressure increases on the Argentine in the coming weeks.
