‘Top class’: Ally McCoist seriously impressed by £100m player Chelsea reportedly want to sign

Ally McCoist is full of praise for Borussia Dortmund and England midfielder Jude Bellingham, who’s reportedly a transfer target for Chelsea.

Jude Bellingham, who’s only 19, has grown into one of the world’s best young players in recent years.

The teenager is linked with a potential move away from Bundesliga leaders Dortmund. According to The Telegraph, Chelsea want to go all out and sign £100million-rated Bellingham. The report mentions rival interest from Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid, though.

TalkSPORT pundit McCoist has shared that he’s a huge fan of Dortmund’s rising star.

He thinks the youngster is very level-headed to shut out all the noise around him.

When discussing Bellingham, McCoist told talkSPORT: “He’s in a fantastic position. Everything about the kid is top class. He doesn’t come out with anything in the press regarding his potential moves.”

Michael Essien named Bellingham as the best midfielder at last year’s World Cup in Qatar, which was a really strong tournament for him.

The box-to-box midfielder already looks like one of the key figures in England’s senior team. The fact he has 22 caps at his age is staggering.

In addition, he’s a talisman at club level with Dortmund. He’s scored 10 goals and made six assists in 34 appearances across all competitions so far this season.

We think Bellingham could force his way into pretty much any starting line-up around the world, so that is why Chelsea fans should be excited by links to him.

However, the midfield department shouldn’t be the priority for Graham Potter’s side this summer. They simply have to fix the No.9 position before going elsewhere!
