Jurgen Klopp has shared his admiration for opposite number Mauricio Pochettino ahead of Sunday’s highly anticipated game between Chelsea and Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.
There’s so many subplots going into the weekend’s Premier League opening fixture between the two rivals. The transfer saga involving Brighton’s Moises Caicedo is a huge one.
The Guardian reported on Friday morning that Liverpool have agreed a £110million transfer for Brighton midfielder, but sources can’t yet rule out Chelsea returning with another attempt after a previous £100million bid.
While the transfer drama continues off the pitch, eyes will begin to turn to the match itself.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is clearly impressed by Mauricio Pochettino after praising Chelsea’s new head coach in today’s pre-match press conference.
“Poch is a top manager so they will show up, we have to be absolutely ready. The football they play you can see Poch is there,” Klopp said, as quoted by Football Daily.

We must not forget this weekend will be Pochettino’s first competitive match in charge of Chelsea.
The Blues were unbeaten throughout pre-season and looked great, but it starts for real in a couple of days time in the Premier League.
