Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah was left very pleased with what he saw in the final minutes of last night’s Premier League win over Crystal Palace.
He took to Instagram to congratulate youngster Alfie Gilchrist on his story after he was subbed on for his debut late in the day to help them see out a result.
As soon as Noni Madueke’s penalty hit the back of the net, Gilchrist was preparing to enter the fray.

The defender has been named in the matchday squad a number of times already this season, although up to now this has not resulted in any playing time.
He did feature for manager Mauricio Pochettino during the pre-season tour of the United States, and did not go out on loan like his teammate Bashir Humphreys.
He came on last night on the right of defence, and threw himself into every tackle up and down the pitch as he did everything he could to help his side to the three points.
Teammate Chalobah took to Instagram after the game to show his delight that the youngster had now made his Chelsea debut.
The Englishman has been nowhere to be seen for the majority of this season, after picking up an injury during the pre-season campaign.
It is believed by many that he will be on the move when the transfer window opens again in a few days’ time.
There was quite the effort to move him on during the summer, with even reports of a move being spoken about as late as deadline day.
While he remained at Stamford Bridge, he has not played a single minute this season, and therefore has hardly been in the thinking of supporters as they look ahead to a future backline at Stamford Bridge after Thiago Silva leaves the club.
