Robert Sanchez praised Chelsea teammate Moises Caicedo after Monday’s win against Tottenham.
The Blues have now won three consecutive away games in the Premier League after a successful trip across London yesterday.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side recorded a 4-1 away victory at Spurs, with the goals coming from Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson (three).
It was an action-packed Monday night with two red cards for Spurs, VAR controversy and several disallowed goals. Thankfully, Chelsea came out on the end of a deserved win to gain three league points.

Chelsea teammate
Blues goalkeeper Robert Sanchez, 25, did applaud Caicedo following the Spurs result.
He praised his 22-year-old club teammate after the display in midfield.
“What a player and what a team, Moises Caicedo” Sanchez wrote on his Instagram story last night.
Moises Caicedo is getting there
It’s taken a little bit of time for Caicedo to get up to full speed during his first few months as a Chelsea player, but there’s signs he’s beginning to find his feet now at Stamford Bridge.
The all-action defensive midfielder looks settled at the base of midfield breaking up play and being heavily involved. We’ve noticed his range of passing may be an underrated part of his game, too.
The individual performance against Spurs this week was low-key pretty impressive. His stunning shot from the edge of the box found the bottom corner on Monday, but it was ruled out by VAR for an offside. Speaking via Sky Sports last night, Daniel Sturridge insisted that the goal should have stood.
Caicedo was one of the Premier League’s best midfielders last season, so it’s felt like only a matter of time before he catches form.
The Blues will need him at his aggressive best this Sunday afternoon at home to Manchester City.
With him and Enzo Fernandez in the centre of the park, Chelsea do look strong in midfield.
