Cole Palmer continued his excellent start to the season yesterday with yet another goal contribution against Crystal Palace.
The England international teed up Nicolas Jackson for the opening goal at Stamford Bridge, with Jackson continuing to prove that a new striker was not necessarily needed during the summer transfer window.
Palmer was not on the pre-season tour of the United States for the Blues, however has not taken long to get up to speed with things.

He has a stunning goal to combine with four assists in his first three games of the Premier League campaign.
This season has just been more of what Chelsea fans have been seeing at Stamford Bridge for the past 12 months, and in this time he has set a number of records since his debut.
Palmer has most assists in Europe since his Chelsea debut
According to OptaJoe, Palmer has more league assists than any other player in any of Europe’s top five leagues, sitting on a total of 15.
Enzo Maresca has seemed to get the best out of Palmer by featuring him in a more central position than where he started in the first game of the season against Manchester City.
Noni Madueke enjoying strong start to season
This has also allowed Noni Madueke to make his way into the starting side, with him in impressive form to start the campaign.
This has not gone unrecognised at the international level either, with the winger joining Palmer and Levi Colwill in the England squad for the upcoming international break.
Palmer meanwhile saw his start for the season awarded with a place in the Premier League Team of the Month for August.
Chelsea supporters will just be looking ahead to the return of domestic action in two weeks’ time when they make the trip down south to take on Bournemouth, the side who the Blues beat in Mauricio Pochettino’s final game in charge of the club.
