Chelsea are yet to pick up a Premier League win at Stamford Bridge under their new manager.

Enzo Maresca’s sole victory in the league came away at Wolves, with them yesterday drawing against London rivals Crystal Palace.

This is despite Nicolas Jackson continuing to silence the doubters as he found the net again, so soon after the Blues decided against signing Victor Osimhen on deadline day.

Enzo Maresca had to encourage Chelsea fans

Even though the Blues were in a promising position before they took the lead, it seemed as if the manager was not too happy with what he was getting out of the Stamford Bridge faithful.

According to London World, Maresca was forced to gee up the home crowd to encourage their players on, with them eventually finding the net before half-time.

It is not the first time already that the Italian has been frustrated with what he is hearing inside the ground on Premier League matchdays.

Maresca previously irritated by Chelsea fans

During the opening game of the season against Manchester City, Maresca was visibly frustrated with the reaction the crowd were giving his side as they began to build up from the back.

Ultimately it seems that the new manager is not too concerned with making himself a popular figure in West London, with him being pretty brutal when it comes to some of the first team players at the club.

He made it very clear that Raheem Sterling was not in his plans for this season, despite the fact he was the highest paid player at the club.

The England international has made the move across the capital to Arsenal, with him only moving on a flat loan for now.

His place in the side has been taken by Jadon Sancho, who was brought in from Manchester United on loan with an obligation to be signed at the end of the season.
