Those inside Chelsea accept that Mauricio Pochettino was always going to have some teething problems at the beginning of his time at Stamford Bridge.
That is according to a report from Daily Mail journalist Adrian Kajumba.
Mauricio Pochettino, 51, is now a few months into his tenure as Chelsea’s head coach.
The Blues have already enjoyed some success in the Carabao Cup by reaching the quarter-final, where they’ll host Newcastle United next month.
However, the Premier League form has been mixed. They currently sit 11th in the league table ahead of Monday night’s trip to close rivals Tottenham.

The feeling in Chelsea’s camp
Apparently, Pochettino has already impressed those internally at Chelsea with the way he’s improved standards and started to build a culture.
There’s no sign that the Argentine boss is at any risk of losing his job despite the league results.
When asked if Pochettino’s under any pressure, Adrian Kajumba told the Daily Mail: “Maybe from some supporters and outsiders but there is an acceptance within that Chelsea are rebuilding and in the early stages of something new again under Pochettino. Teething problems as they are experiencing were almost been expected.
“While results have not gone totally to plan yet and they will always, ultimately and eventually dictate, Pochettino has impressed with other parts of the job such as helping to build a culture at the club and improve standards, things that have gone down well.”
Mauricio Pochettino gets our approval
We want everyone at Chelsea to stick with the manager through this challenging period and see what he can do.
Speaking via John Obi Mikel’s official podcast recently, Chelsea legend John Terry said Pochettino has been “excellent” so far at Stamford Bridge. He added that there’s a feel-good factor around the club right now, too.
There’s still plenty of work to do to get this team where it needs to be on the pitch, but it’s refreshing to hear all the positivity off of it.
We’re going to learn a lot about this side with the two final games before November’s international break. Chelsea face Spurs (away) and Manchester City (home) in the league.
