Despite the many impressive displays put in by Chelsea players during the international break, it has been a story off the pitch which has been dominating the headlines.
The rift between owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali has very much become public knowledge, with the situation between the two at this stage looking unresolvable.
Chelsea fans seem to have taken the side of Boehly in this debacle, however will no doubt ultimately be wishing that the main stories surrounding the club finally return to those on the pitch.

The American reportedly has no plans to step down as chairman of the club, leaving the situation in limbo as his stake is by far not a majority.
While it is unclear where exactly the rift has come from between the duo, however there seems to be an element of one party being overlooked in a lot of key decisions at the club.
Todd Boehly feeling frozen out at Chelsea
Ben Jacobs told GiveMeSport that sources close to Boehly feel he is being ostracised by the rest of the ownership team, although this is something that the Clearlake side
“Eghbali is incredibly attached to the Chelsea project and Clearlake’s investors would likely take some persuading to go against his recommendation not to sell if presented with the opportunity.
“Those close to Boehly feel his sporting background, along with his experience in renovating Dodger Stadium, are being overlooked at Chelsea, leading to the 50-year-old feeling increasingly ostracised. This claim is countered by Clearlake sources, who insist Boehly is a key voice on all major decisions, and has a veto on some of them.”
Boehly against Mauricio Pochettino sacking
Boehly was reportedly against the sacking of Mauricio Pochettino, with him only lasting a season at Stamford Bridge despite their search for stability at the helm.
Enzo Maresca will hope he is given the time to succeed in the job, especially given the fact that it is his first in Premier League football.
The Italian is unfortunately likely to face questions on the situation going on above his head at the club when the press conference comes around later this week, with him likely just wanting to focus on the task in hand of facing Bournemouth at the weekend.
