Reports have claimed that Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino seems to have had a change of heart following his post-match comments on Saturday.
According to The Athletic, the Blues did not actually train despite the boss’ insistence after the game that they would be as a punishment for their performance.
Pochettino was seething after Saturday’s performance which saw their good run of form come to an end in some style.

The Argentine was forced to watch from the stands after serving a suspension for being booked three times already this season
He will have been disappointed with the effort levels he was seeing, especially after the Blues pulled themselves back into the game through Raheem Sterling in the first half.
After the loss, the manager did not hold back in sharing just how angry he was, whilst also saying that the players would be back in training tomorrow after travelling back home.
Pochettino did not follow through on threat
However, some doubt was cast over this when footage of Nicolas Jackson celebrating in the dressing room of his former club after they won yesterday.
Now, reports have emerged that those threats were actually empty, and the Blues were off as previously scheduled.
It is likely that what Pochettino said was impacted by the high stakes and emotion that follow a big loss, and he hadn’t taken the logistics of the situation into account.
It’s going to be an important week on the training ground this week though for the Blues, as they look to do what they can to bounce back before another tough league game.
They will face Brighton on Sunday, with the Seagulls in action in Europe just three days before the meeting at Stamford Bridge.
