Reports have now shared whether Reece James is going to be fit enough to feature for Chelsea in next month’s EFL Cup final.
The Telegraph have now given an update on whether the club captain will be able to lead his side out when they take on Liverpool at Wembley next month.
James has not featured this year after suffering yet another injury that has forced him back on the sidelines.

This time though, it seems it was one issue too many for the England international. He travelled abroad to undergo surgery on his hamstring.
The hope will now be that he can return to fitness and become a regular for the first team again.
With him currently on the sidelines, he was forced to watch from the benches as the Blues took part in their biggest game of the season earlier this week against Middlesbrough.
Will Reece James be fit for the EFL Cup final
Tasked with overturning a 1-0 deficit from the semi-final first leg, a Cole Palmer inspired Chelsea side hit their opponents for six in the EFL Cup.
He will have been desperate to return the fitness by the time the Blues walk out onto the famous Wembley turf in a months’ time.
However, recent reports have now claimed that he is not expected to be fit enough to make the squad in any capacity.
Given how bad his injury record has been over the past few years, it would be far wiser in the long run not playing him when he is not at 100%.
This will however no doubt be frustrating for the defender, who has already lifted the Champions League in the early stages of his Chelsea career.
The Blues will be hoping Malo Gusto is back to fitness before the final in order to have a natural right-back on the pitch.
