Reports have claimed that Mauricio Pochettino being at Chelsea could actually convince Kylian Mbappe to join them this summer.
According to The Independent, the good relationship between the player and manager could see him intrigued by the prospect of playing at Stamford Bridge next season.
In a shocking turn of events, it looks as if Mbappe is going to be on the move from PSG this summer after his relationship has severely deteriorated with the club.

There is now a frantic scrap amongst some of Europe’s elite sides for the opportunity to gain his services for the upcoming campaign.
Saudi Arabia have also been mentioned as a potential landing spot for the France international, even if it just on a one-year basis. This would result in him then moving on for free to Real Madrid.
Pochettino could help Chelsea sign Mbappe
However, it has now been claimed that the recent managerial change at Stamford Bridge could result in them being in a decent position to pull off the coup themselves.
Pochettino’s last club in the game was PSG, where he was in charge of Mbappe as well as fellow superstar Neymar.
It has been claimed that the pair enjoy a good relationship, and that could be crucial in him deciding where he wants to play his football next.

Chelsea were reportedly focusing on other targets to finish off what has certainly been an eventful transfer window so far.
They have prioritised player sales so far, although have still looked strong in their first two outings under Pochettino against Wrexham and Brighton.
However, any club would be foolish to turn down the opportunity to have the player universally known as ‘world-class’, especially with him eventually likely to play for Madrid for a number of years in the future.
