Chelsea star Noni Madueke has admitted he’s very excited about the prospect of working with Mauricio Pochettino next season.

Chelsea fans are now waiting for an official announcement from the club regarding Mauricio Pochettino’s appointment as the next manager, which seems like the worst kept secret in football right now. Journalist Fabrizio Romano claims on Twitter that Pochettino has signed a three-year contract to take charge at Stamford Bridge.

The Argentine coach has a great track record of improving youngsters, so the rising stars in the Blues squad should be delighted.

Noni Madueke, who’s just 21, is one of the emerging talents that Chelsea supporters are excited about.

The English winger has given a very positive verdict about his soon-to-be manager.

When asked about Pochettino’s imminent arrival, Madueke told Sky Sports: “I think he is a good manager. He has been in big places in the world and what he did in the Premier League was a great success. I am looking forward to working with him and learning as much as I can from him.”

Madueke paid tribute to Chelsea’s caretaker manager Frank Lampard yesterday by claiming he’s improved a lot during the past two months because of him.

We think there’s so much more to come once Pochettino sinks his teeth into him, too.

The dazzling right-winger has started to show glimpses of why everyone was so excited when he joined from PSV Eindhoven in January.

Our guess is he could do a fantastic job on the right flank in Pochettino’s favoured 4-2-3-1 system.
