Darren Bent thinks Barcelona striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is a great transfer target for Chelsea this summer.
Aubameyang, 33, is reportedly a player that’s now in Chelsea’s sights as a possible signing in this window.
It’s been claimed the African centre-forward would be open to joining the Blues, too.
He only left the Premier League earlier this year after four successful years as Arsenal’s frontman, but is now linked with a quick return to London.

Aubameyang great target for Chelsea
TalkSPORT pundit Bent thinks Aubameyang is someone that Chelsea could bank on to score a lot of goals for them.
Most Blues supporters will now refuse to believe any signing in attack will be a success until they see it with their own eyes, such is the club’s poor recent record when it comes to signing strikers.
However, Aubameyang’s senior club club career reads a staggering 299 goals in 578 appearances.
“It would be a good addition to the squad… He is someone who knows where the back of the net is. His goalscoring records are fantastic,” Bent told talkSPORT.
“Chelsea need someone who’s going to stick the ball in the back of the net. They need to find someone who can be a main source of goals and I think Aubameyang when he gets to a new club – he’s fresh, he’s excited, he’s hungry, he will get you the goals.”

ST needed
There’s perhaps a mixed response in the fanbase with links this week to Aubameyang, but you can’t argue he’s a goalscorer that’s clinical around the box. He’s been a big success in the past under manager Thomas Tuchel at Borussia Dortmund, too.
Whatever happens with Aubameyang, Chelsea must try to sign another forward by the end of the month.
Kai Havertz, along with youngster Armando Broja, are intriguing options to play in the No.9 role at Stamford Bridge this term. The squad just does look a light in that area of the pitch, though.
