Chelsea could sign at least one more attacker before the transfer window closes in September.
The Blues have already added Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens and Liam Delap to Enzo Maresca‘s squad this summer.
Chelsea have high hopes for Gittens, but the 20-year-old could be challenged by Alejandro Garnacho for the spot on the left wing.
The club remain keen on Garnacho, who would have impressed them after his performance at Stamford Bridge back in the 2023/24 season.

Alejandro Garnacho almost inspired Manchester United to famous comeback win against Chelsea
Garnacho contributed to what was arguably the most exciting game of the 2023/24 Premier League campaign, Chelsea’s 4-3 win against Manchester United.
Chelsea took an early lead in the match through Conor Gallagher before Cole Palmer made it 2-0. However, a Garnacho brace and Bruno Fernandes header saw the visitors turn things and almost take the three points back to Old Trafford.
It was arguably Garnacho’s best performance in a United shirt, but it went to waste in the end.
Deep into stoppage time, Palmer stepped up and scored twice to complete a hat-trick and, most importantly, restore Chelsea’s lead. Garnacho was great that night, but he was outshone by the Blues’ talisman.
They were rivals that day, but Garnacho and Palmer could become teammates very soon. In June, it was reported that Chelsea signing Gittens and Garnacho was a possibility.

What Chelsea could be prepared to do to sign Alejandro Garnacho this summer
Chelsea’s interest in Garnacho could see the Club World Cup and Conference League winners hand over one of their current players to United.
A swap deal involving Nicolas Jackson has not been ruled out, with the Red Devils said to be monitoring the striker’s situation in west London.
Jackson was a key player for Maresca last season, making 37 appearances in all competitions. However, following the arrivals of Pedro and Delap, the 24-year-old’s future at Chelsea has come into doubt.
Ex-Chelsea midfielder Craig Burley recently compared Jackson and Rasmus Hojlund, suggesting that the former is more rounded than the latter. However, it is not a move that he has endorsed.
