Over the last couple of years, Chelsea have signed a lot of young players, including several teenagers.

However, it does not look like Chelsea will be bringing in one 18-year-old, or at least for the time being.

Two teenagers who will be arriving at Stamford Bridge next year, though, are Estevao Willian and Kendry Paez.

Both players turn 18 in 2025 so will be able to officially join Chelsea next summer. Chelsea think they have struck gold with Estevao and Paez.

Vince Osuji will not join Chelsea

Kalmar FF central defender Vince Osuji has recently been linked with a move to west London.

However, according to allnigeriasoccer.com, Osuji will not be signing for Enzo Maresca‘s side.

The 18-year-old, though, could still end up becoming part of the BlueCo group, with the same website claiming that Chelsea’s sister club Strasbourg are interested in him.

Move there and play well, and perhaps Osuji could go on to secure a switch to Chelsea one day. Andrey Santos is currently at the Stade de la Meinau and it is proving to be a great environment for his development.

Strasbourg can develop future Chelsea players

Competing in one of Europe’s top divisions, Strasbourg can help prepare young players for life at Chelsea, be it Santos, Osuji if he joins the French club or whoever.

By the time Santos finishes his loan there, he probably will be ready for Chelsea’s first team. Again, the midfielder’s development is coming along nicely over there.

In 11 Ligue 1 appearances, Santos has scored five goals. On WhoScored, the Brazilian is actually one of the highest-rated players in France.

If Osuji is dreaming about playing for Chelsea one day, then that is the route he may have to go down. Of course, Chelsea signed Santos directly, something they are unlikely to do with Osuji.

It seems more probable that they allow Osuji to join Strasbourg first before bringing him to west London if he really is a player of interest to them.
