Axel Disasi may have finally found his next destination with Chelsea exit in ‘coming days’ possible

Axel Disasi could be the next player to leave Chelsea despite the transfer window in England now being closed.

During the summer, Chelsea moved on a lot of individuals at the club, including Christopher Nkunku and Noni Madueke.

Premier League sides were interested in Disasi, but the defender did not fancy a switch to any of the English teams who wanted him.

With the transfer market in Turkey and Saudi Arabia still open, though, Disasi could still get a move to one of those countries.

Axel Disasi ‘more open’ to moving to Turkey than Saudi Arabia

Towards the end of August, it was claimed that Disasi was not keen on moving to Saudi Arabia amid interest from Neom. Fast forward to now, and that still appears to be the case.

According to GiveMeSport, Disasi is “more open” to signing for a Turkish side than joining an outfit in the Saudi Pro League.

As a result, Disasi moving to Turkey in the “coming days” is possible, while the Saudi Arabia option has still not been completely ruled out.

It is clear, though, that joining Neom or one of their rivals is definitely not Disasi’s preference.

If Disasi does not move to Turkey or Saudi Arabia, he risks not playing any first-team football until January. There is little chance of Enzo Maresca reintegrating him into the main group at Cobham.

Could Raheem Sterling join Axel Disasi in Turkey?

Like Disasi, Raheem Sterling is also part of Chelsea’s infamous bomb squad, failing to secure a transfer away from the club in the previous transfer window.

Chelsea will not bring Sterling back into the fold either, so he should be considering all of his options as well. The winger, however, is refusing to.

GiveMeSport’s report claims that Sterling has no intention of signing for a club in Turkey or Saudi Arabia in a blow to the Blues, who are desperate to offload the 30-year-old and get rid of his wages.
