Chelsea could face competition from Bayern Munich if they decide to make a move for AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan.
Mike Maignan is currently being linked with a switch to Chelsea.
However, according to Calciomercato, Bayern Munich have put the 28-year-old on the top of their list for the 2024 summer transfer window.
The Italian outlet has also claimed that Chelsea have Maignan on their radar as well and that he could cost €100m (£85.6m).

The Blues signed Robert Sanchez from Brighton & Hove Albion in the last transfer window, but links to new goalkeepers suggest that they may not be entirely convinced by the 26-year-old. There has also been speculation about Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsdale potentially moving to Stamford Bridge.
Who is Mike Maignan more likely to join, Bayern Munich or Chelsea?
You would probably have to make Bayern favourites here. You can see them really pushing for Maignan next summer, while Chelsea’s interest could cool if Sanchez impresses in the second half of the season.
Manuel Neuer is 37 now, so it would not be a surprise to see Bayern and Thomas Tuchel bring in his long-term successor soon. Maignan is one of the top goalkeepers in the world, so he is obviously a logical candidate and someone the Bundesliga champions may decide to go all out for.
The Frenchman kept 17 clean sheets in the 2021/22 season, the most in Serie A, helping Milan to win the title.
At Bayern, Maignan will also get to continue playing in the Champions League. Participation in Europe’s elite competition is just not something Chelsea can guarantee the former Lille man.
Never say never with the Blues, but if they really are determined to go out and sign a new shot-stopper, Ramsdale looks like a more attainable target.
There does not seem to be any European giants sniffing around him, while he is likely to become available after losing his spot at Arsenal to David Raya.
