Reported Chelsea target Gabriel Jesus is still looking for a move away from Manchester City, with his new suitor reportedly expected to be a Premier League club.
Fabrizio Romano has claimed the Brazilian will remain in England despite his decision to leave Pep Guardiola’s side, keeping the Blues in the race for his signature.
The 25-year-old has won four league titles since joining the Citizens in 2017, and has shown versatility this season in occupying different positions in the attacking line.

Jesus has mostly operated as a right-winger this season, with City utilising a false nine system for the majority of the campaign. Interestingly, Chelsea turned to this tactic after Romelu Lukaku lost his starting role at the club.
Reports emerged yesterday suggesting that Chelsea were considering a bid for the Brazil international in AS Sport, and his intention to stay in England may encourage the Blues to make their interest official.
Romano tweeted: “Gabriel Jesus deal. He still wants to leave Man City and the expectation is for Gabriel to join a Premier League club this summer, official bids will arrive soon.”
Chelsea’s lack of an obvious regular goalscorer has haunted them this season, as they slipped out of the title race with City and Liverpool.
City scored 99 goals in the league last season, with Chelsea way behind despite often creating good chances to convert.

Despite never being a guaranteed starter, Jesus has always been contributing for the Manchester side, notching up 95 goals and 46 assists in 235 games.
The 25-year-old was tipped to replace Sergio Aguero, however the imminent announcement of Erling Haaland appears to have made his mind up in looking for regular first team opportunities, something he has certainly earned over the last five years.
This type of guaranteed output has been missing from the Blues for a while, notably last season with no player hitting more than 15 goals in all competitions.
With the interest in Ousmane Dembele being widely reported, a player known for his creativity and assists, rumours of a potential incoming proven goalscorer could provide a lot of excitement around Stamford Bridge.
