Trevoh Chalobah is Chelsea through and through.

Yesterday on Twitter, the defender posed a question that highlighted his love for Stamford Bridge.

‘BLUE is my favourite colour btw guys. What’s yours?’ asked Chalobah.

Now, this might have just been a completely random thought that popped into his head.

Or, it was a sign that the centre-back has no intentions of leaving his boyhood club this month, despite claims suggesting otherwise.

The 23-year-old has reportedly attracted interest from a number of potential suitors in January.

Chelsea have apparently already rejected a move from AC Milan for their academy graduate.

Trevoh Chalobah should stay at Chelsea

With only a few days of the transfer window remaining, Chalobah’s employers might have to buckle down for more approaches.

But even though they may be able to earn a decent profit on the player raised through the Cobham ranks, the likelihood of him leaving seems slim.

He remains one of Chelsea’s most consistent performers, and is clearly appreciated by his teammates and the manager.

Graham Potter has picked Chalobah on 17 occasions this season, the joint-third highest figure in the senior squad.

His ability to play in a back-four, a back-three or even cover in central midfield makes him a valuable asset for Potter.

Not only that, but Chelsea will want to avoid letting go anymore of their own pupils, having seen numerous members of the development sides depart in the past few years.

If Todd Boehly is to keep true to the Blues, he must ensure Chalobah stays put.
