Journalist Alex Crook has claimed that Enzo Fernandez is set to miss Benfica training again as he looks to push through a move to Chelsea.
The 21-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to Stamford Bridge now the January transfer window has opened.
Todd Boehly is reportedly keen on securing a deal for the highly-rated midfielder this month in an attempt to beat rival sides to a deal.

Liverpool are one of the clubs who have been strongly linked with a move for Fernandez, however were expected to move at the end of the campaign.
Chelsea’s interest has seemingly completely turned the Argentinian’s head towards a future in West London.
It has previously been claimed that he had travelled back to Argentina for New Years’ celebrations, a move which had not been sanctioned by his club.
Fernandez ignoring team orders
Now, Crook has claimed that the 21-year-old is set to avoid training with the club again today, as discussions continue over a deal.
He said: “Chelsea target Enzo Fernandez is not endearing himself to Benfica fans. Absent from training again today. Told he might even still be in Argentina having defied club orders not to fly home over New Year.”
The Blues’ interest in a deal peaked after a sensational campaign at the World Cup.

Despite not originally being a starter, he quickly established himself as an essential member of the Argentina side that went on to win the tournament.
He was described as ‘brilliant’ during the campaign by pundit Chris Sutton, and his talents are something the Blues could certainly do with to freshen up a stale midfield.
The position could be set for an exodus in the summer anyway. N’golo Kante and Jorginho’s current contracts are set to expire at the end of the campaign.
