While Christopher Nkunku was able to score earlier this week, Chelsea are still likely to sign a new forward this summer.
Nkunku is not a recognised striker, while Marc Guiu is still only 19, so Enzo Maresca does not have amazing alternatives to Nicolas Jackson.
Maresca is keen on Liam Delap, but his former player, who has shone at Ipswich Town, is not the only No.9 on Chelsea‘s radar.
Delap has scored 10 goals in 26 Premier League appearances this season, which includes a penalty against Chelsea.

Chelsea face real fight to sign Samu Aghehowa this summer
Chelsea came close to signing Samu Aghehowa from Atletico Madrid last year, but a move collapsed and the 20-year-old joined Porto instead.
However, he still appears to be on their list after impressing at the Estadio do Dragao, the stadium where Chelsea won their second Champions League trophy.
According to CaughtOffside, the Blues remain keen on Aghehowa, but the Spaniard is now also attracting interest from the likes of Bayern Munich, Arsenal and Newcastle United.
Newcastle’s Alexander Isak is a man who is in demand, explaining their interest in Aghehowa, who may need to be brought in as a replacement for the 25-year-old.
The Chelsea Chronicle has already been told that Chelsea could try to make a move for Isak this summer. But if they fail there, then it looks like Aghehowa could be an alternative.
Aghehowa has scored 19 goals in all competitions for Porto this season and has already punished one of Chelsea’s Premier League rivals. Another report from CaughtOffside claims he could cost €50m (£41m) in the next transfer window.

Manchester United couldn’t cope with Samu Aghehowa
Manchester United came up against Aghehowa earlier in the campaign and struggled to deal with him.
In their Europa League tie with Porto, the Spain international managed to score two goals and was a real problem in the air for the Red Devils, who were still being managed by Erik ten Hag at the time.
In total, Aghehowa won five out of his nine aerial duels, as per Sofascore. All in all, he could be a very good fit for the English top flight.
It is thought that Maresca rates Aghehowa, so perhaps this is one that Chelsea could revisit in the summer.
