Chelsea could try to boost their forward line during the January transfer window.
Chelsea have been linked with several strikers, including Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap and Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak.
Delap recently spoke about his future, claiming that he is not paying attention to rumours.
The 21-year-old and Isak are not the only Premier League forwards Chelsea seem to have on their radar, though.

Chelsea interested in Wolves’ Matheus Cunha
Unsurprisingly, Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Cunha has caught the attention of some of the Premier League’s biggest clubs.
The Brazilian has had two really good seasons at Molineux, scoring 10 league goals in the current campaign and 12 in the last one.
Chelsea appear to be one of those clubs who have been drawn to Cunha, with CaughtOffside reporting that the Blues are interested in him.
He actually scored against Enzo Maresca‘s side when Wolves and Chelsea met at Molineux at the start of the season, though it proved to be in vain as the visitors went on to claim all three points after winning the game 6-2.
Chelsea could not live with Matheus Cunha last season
Cunha’s goal against Chelsea in August was not his first versus the Blues.
In the 2023/24 Premier League campaign, the Brazil international scored a hat-trick in Wolves’ 4-2 win at Stamford Bridge.

That day, he absolutely battered Chelsea’s backline, linking up well with Pedro Neto, who has since gone on to join the Blues.
He has carried that form into this season and has impressed his new manager Vitor Pereira.
“He is a special player,” Pereira was quoted as saying by the Premier League’s official website after Wolves’ 2-0 win against Manchester United in which Cunha scored in. “He can do things that can make the difference in small details.”
Someone like Isak is probably going to be too expensive for Chelsea. With that in mind, Cunha could be a great alternative to the Sweden international or Delap if the club cannot sign either this year.
