Chelsea are set to sanction several loan deals between now and the end of the transfer window.
The club have a lot of young and talented players who need regular game time, something that Enzo Maresca cannot offer them.
As a result, the likes of Mike Penders and Kendry Paez are expected to leave Chelsea temporarily.
It has already been reported that Penders will be joining Strasbourg on loan, for example. However, one Chelsea youngster will definitely not be moving to the French outfit this summer.

Aaron Anselmino won’t join Strasbourg after Mamadou Sarr loan deal
Aaron Anselmino is another player Chelsea will want to loan out in order for the 20-year-old to gain more experience.
Fabrizio Romano has shared on X, though, that Anselmino will not sign for Strasbourg after Chelsea’s decision to send Mamadou Sarr there.
With the Blues also planning to send Paez to Strasbourg on top of Sarr and Penders, the Ligue 1 side cannot loan any more players from their sister club.
This is not the first time that Chelsea have complicated an exit for Anselmino. During the January transfer window, Anselmino was unable to leave on loan after Joao Felix took the last international loan spot.
He has made just one competitive appearance for Chelsea, which came at the Club World Cup, since his £15m move from Boca Juniors.

What Aaron Anselmino plans to do during summer transfer window
From Anselmino’s point of view, some sort of loan move this summer would be good.
When Anselmino spoke about his future at the start of the month, he said: “My idea is to stay at Chelsea, but speaking with the manager, I think it would be better to get more experience elsewhere. I think it will help me grow a lot as a player.”
The defender could still be in line for one; it is just that Strasbourg is no longer an option. However, if Chelsea dilly-dally with him, then it is not impossible that a repeat of January happens, and that is not something that he will want.
It is a situation for Chelsea supporters to monitor while the transfer market remains open.
