Chelsea could now sell Conor Gallagher to make way for the incoming Tyler Adams – as well as the potential arrivals of Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia.
That is according to the Evening Standard.

Well, it is said that the England international’s future at Stamford Bridge is now in real doubt as Chelsea ramp up their search for midfield reinforcements, after losing N’Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek earlier this summer.
The Evening Standard add that Gallagher – who David Ornstein claims has impressed Mauricio Pochettino with his Argentinian style of play – is being offered to a number of Premier League clubs at the moment.
West Ham saw a bid worth £40m rejected in July, while Tottenham are also keeping a close eye on his situation.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea want £50m to sell the 23-year-old this summer.
Conor Gallagher may have to settle for the bench if he stays at Chelsea
In our view, Gallagher should not expect to receive much game time next season if he does stay at Stamford Bridge – as Pochettino has seemingly ordered Todd Boehly to completely overhaul his midfield.
As revealed by the aforementioned Romano – one of the most reliable journalists around – a £20m deal has been agreed to sign Adams from Leeds United, after his release clause was triggered.
The Guardian add that Chelsea are now optimistic of signing Caicedo, while a £48m bid has also been made for Southampton No.45 Lavia.
With Enzo Fernandez already in west London, and Pochettino usually lining up with two central midfielders in a 4-2-3-1, we can’t see Gallagher having much fun at Chelsea next season, if the Blues get these deals finalised.
