It looks like Chelsea could turn their attention from Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho to another winger this summer.

Garnacho was the wide man Chelsea were seriously interested in signing during the January transfer window.

In fact, it was claimed that Enzo Maresca was pushing for Garnacho, who ended up staying at United.

Chelsea have also been linked with Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Gittens, but another name now appears to be firmly on their radar.

Chelsea make Antoine Semenyo key target

Chelsea are interested in quite a few Bournemouth players. It is believed that Chelsea are keen on Dean Huijsen, for example.

You can now add Antoine Semenyo to the list, with it being said that the Blues want to sign the winger this summer.

Journalist Simon Phillips has shared on Si Phillips Talks Chelsea that Semenyo has become a “massive” target for the club, according to one of his sources.

It would not be a surprise, with Chelsea looking at wingers and the 25-year-old having an excellent season under Andoni Iraola.

While Semenyo could be leaving Bournemouth for Chelsea, Kepa Arrizabalaga could move in the opposite direction.

The goalkeeper is already at the Vitality Stadium on loan, but Bournemouth are keen to sign Kepa permanently.

Antoine Semenyo has terrorised Manchester City this season

Earlier in the campaign, Bournemouth were able to beat Manchester City 2-1 at the Vitality, and Pep Guardiola’s men could not live with Semenyo.

It was the Ghana international who opened the scoring for his side on the day, while he also went on to complete six dribbles.

Semenyo started on the right against City, but he can also play on the left, showing his versatility.

If Chelsea do want to sign a new winger this summer, which does look to be the case, then it makes sense for them to go after him.

Bournemouth fans must now be fearing the worst. After such a good season, they are in danger of losing the spine of their team.
