There are going to be exits at Chelsea this month, with several members of Enzo Maresca’s squad wanting more game time.

Christopher Nkunku, for example, has only made three Premier League starts for Chelsea this season.

Nkunku’s been warned about joining Bayern Munich, but a move to the Allianz Arena certainly looks like a possibility after his struggles in west London.

As well as this month, though, there are also going to be departures at Stamford Bridge in the summer.

Kepa Arrizabalaga set to leave Chelsea in the summer

One Chelsea player who looks set for a permanent transfer after the conclusion of this season is Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Kepa is currently on loan at Bournemouth, and it seems there is no way back for him at Chelsea.

According to Estadio Deportivo, Kepa “will not continue” at the Blues and is already attracting interest.

The goalkeeper is having a good campaign at the Vitality Stadium. Andoni Iraola praised Kepa after one of his performances last month, describing him as “amazing” and “very solid”.

Bournemouth and Al-Ittihad interested in signing Kepa Arrizabalaga

Unsurprisingly, Bournemouth want to keep hold of Kepa. However, they are not the only club who are interested in buying him.

Estadio Deportivo’s report claims that, as well as the Cherries, Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad are also keen on the 30-year-old and failed in their attempts to land him last summer.

With the Spanish outlet reporting that Kepa is going to leave Chelsea at the end of the season, they may have another opportunity to sign the Spaniard, though it looks like they will have to see off competition from Bournemouth.

After a tough time in England, Kepa has redeemed himself a bit at Bournemouth. It would now not be a surprise to see the Spain international remain there.

Chelsea have way too many goalkeepers on their books right now, so Stamford Bridge is not an option for Kepa despite his improved form. Robert Sanchez and Filip Jorgensen remain Maresca‘s first-choice and second-choice goalkeepers, while Djordje Petrovic and Mike Penders are currently at Strasbourg and Genk respectively.
