Chelsea defender Benoit Badiashile is attracting interest from Italian giants AC Milan.
That is according to a report from TuttoMercatoWeb.
Benoit Badiahile has only played two games for Chelsea so far this season due to injury problems, but he did start last weekend’s 4-1 defeat to Newcastle United in the Premier League.
The 22-year-old centre-back was very impressive in the second half of last season after joining the Blues in January. However, fans are waiting for the Frenchman to get back to full fitness and form.

AC Milan bid
TMW claims that Chelsea have already rejected a bid from Milan to take Badiashile on loan in the January transfer window.
It is explained that Milan’s offer was turned down because it arrived too early. Instead, the Blues want to evaluate the left-footed defender from now until the New Year.
The report explains that he was the first defensive target to bring to the San Siro, but any kind of deal looks off the cards for now.
Meanwhile, Football.London claimed last week that Badiashile isn’t thinking about leaving Chelsea.
Benoit Badiashile needs more minutes
Badiashile’s first league appearance of the season certainly didn’t go to plan away at Newcastle, but let’s remember he’s lacking any kind of match sharpness.
We’re not certain if the Frenchman will keep his starting position this weekend at home to Brighton. However, he does need more game time in the weeks ahead to get up to full speed again.
There’s other centre-halves in the squad that have done quite well since Mauricio Pochettino arrived as head coach in the summer. It means Badiashile’s got a real challenge on to cement a spot in the XI, but he’s got the potential and quality to do it.
