Reports recently have claimed that Chelsea are interested in signing Manchester United attacker Jadon Sancho.

According to The Secret Scout, the Englishman is one of the names Chelsea have on their list to be their final signing of the summer transfer window right now.

Mauricio Pochettino has hinted that he would like an addition to the attack before it shuts on Friday. This is likely due to the injury suffered by Christopher Nkunku in pre-season.

Now, it seems one of the players on their list is Sancho. He has certainly not enjoyed the best time since making the move to the Premier League.

However, the quality of the player is undoubtable, with him showing it back in the Bundesliga at Borussia Dortmund.

Before Pochettino faced him in a Champions League game a few seasons ago, he was keen to point out just how good the player is.

He said: “He doesn’t surprise me. We knew very well that he was capable of doing what he’s doing now, with game time.

“The quality he was showing at Manchester City and with his national team (at age group level) – we were talking in the last few years, that he was a massive prospect to be a very good player.

“He is showing now in Germany that he can cope with the pressure of playing in the Bundesliga and Champions League. And it doesn’t surprise me, his talent is there.”

Sancho is one of a number of names who are reportedly on the list for Chelsea to sign this summer.

They have also been linked with Emile Smith Rowe from Arsenal, as well as Barcelona winger Ansu Fati.
