The agents of one Chelsea first-team player are reportedly working to get their client a move while the January transfer window is open.
It’s been a busy mid-season window already with ins and outs at Chelsea.
For example, the Blues have welcomed back Trevoh Chalobah and Aaron Anselmino to the club from respective loans with Crystal Palace and Boca Juniors. Meanwhile, Alex Matos has gone in the opposite direction by joining Oxford United on loan. Harvey Vale is now expected to leave Chelsea permanently, too.

Lazio in talks with Cesare Casadei’s agents
According to Alfredo Pedulla, Italian top-flight club Lazio want to sign a new midfielder in this transfer window.
It is explained that Lazio are now in discussions with the agents of Chelsea’s Cesare Casadei.
The report says that the Serie A side previously looked at signing the 22-year-old central midfielder before his move to Stamford Bridge a couple of years ago. Now, the Blues youngster is back in their sights as they try to negotiate a winter transfer.
It’s worth adding that Lazio face competition from Napoli and Torino for his signature, too.
It was recently claimed that Torino were preparing a bid for Chelsea’s Casadei, which would include a sell-on clause. Who will win the race for the midfield talent, though?

Enzo Maresca confirmed Cesare Casadei is likely to leave Chelsea
It’s been a tough assignment for Enzo Maresca, the Chelsea manager, trying to keep everyone in the squad happy. In fairness, he’s tried to share the minutes around across various cup competitions.
Maresca has confirmed Chelsea’s plan is to let Casadei leave in January as he desperately needs more first-team minutes.
The box-to-box midfielder’s only made six appearances so far this season, playing zero times in the Premier League. It’s certainly not reflecting badly on the Italian youngster because he’s competing alongside high-profile stars such as Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez for minutes.
While we’d love to see Casadei play more in Chelsea colours with his great physical attributes, it’s logical for him to move on this month.
